A competitive entry six-month program that encourages entries from IP-based inventions, Accelerator for Biosciences in Connecticut offers benefits such as mini-MBA curriculum, expert coaching, networking, mentorship and pitch preparation support. Participants also get access to the program’s corporate supporters, including foundations and investors in the New York City biosciences community.

Resources & Services

ABCT Program

A six-month program consisting of a preliminary bootcamp along with multiple workshops and roundtables, practice pitches, the ABCT Program helps participants hone pitches on how their inventions can benefit the biosciences community. The program is competitive, and applicants must live or work in Connecticut and have a background or education in science, medicine, or technology. Participants in the ABCT program have access to dozens of mentors in the biosciences community as well as venture advisors.

While it is intended for scientists, physicians, nurses and engineers who intend to pursue entrepreneurial activities, applicants do not need to have a company formed to participate.
