MBI is a private, independent economic development organization that serves as a catalyst for life science and healthcare innovation. It works to assist startups in the life and health sciences industry with business planning and lowers the cost barriers to success by providing cost-effective, high-quality laboratory and support services at its Worcester incubator.

Mission

Help start biomedical companies and create jobs within the Biotechnology, Medical Device, Informatics, and Biomanufacturing industry by providing secure, clean bench and sink surface, staff trained and fully licensed laboratory space for usage by “seed stage” companies. Building and maintaining collaborative affiliations and partnerships are essential to our success.

MBI StartUp Center

Flexible incubator labs for early stage startups. The MBI StartUp Center also offers assistance with services such as marketing, referrals, business development, and Entrepreneur in Residence programming.

MBI ScaleUp Center

Helping to bridge the gap between smaller incubator labs and the private market, growing life science companies can use the MBI ScaleUp center to lease private laboratory suites of up to 3,000 square feet with built-in offices.
