Its Office of Innovation and Workforce Development provides office space, programming, and other resources designed to foster connections between these students, faculty, and the broader community to promote innovative and entrepreneurial ideas.

To aid the development of an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset among UMass Lowell students, faculty, graduates, and community members so they, in turn, can solve the very complex problems facing our community and society in this 21st century.

Startups

UMass Lowell offers the startup community opportunities to collaborate and innovate with its faculty and staff. These include the Innovation Hub, a co-working space and lab in Lowell; M2D2, which offers research capabilities and space for medical device startups; and the Office of Technology Commercialization, which helps bring inventions to market.
