The U.S. Small Business Administration is launching a series of regionally focused webinars aiming to assist small businesses with their recovery from COVID-19 and connect them to local resources as well as federal ones.
The webinar series, “Getting Back on Track: Help is Here,” will feature speakers from the SBA, White House, members of Congress, and small business leaders. The program will focus on options for economic recovery and access to capital, digital tools, and resources allowing small businesses to promote COVID-19 vaccines among their workforce and in their community.
- The webinar specific to Connecticut and New England will take place at 2 p.m. on July 8
- Sessions are targeted at the nation’s hardest-hit businesses and will include updates on the American Rescue Plan
- Part of SBA’s effort to help small businesses fully and safely reopen while connecting them to available assistance, such as tax credits available to employers who give their employees paid time off to get a COVID-19 vaccine
- Builds on a previous webinar series explaining the Biden administration’s changes to the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided information to more than 80,000 small business owners
