The Minority Business Development Agency and Commerce Department have announced the opening of a grant competition designed to assist minority-owned businesses with access to capital and technical assistance.
The award is connected to the Minority Business Enterprise Equity Multiplier Project, whose goals include strengthening minority-owned businesses’ capacity building and venture capital readiness; better access to equity, venture investment, and investors; creating jobs; and technical assistance.
One $300,000 grant award will be given to support a project with performance occurring in any state, U.S. territory, or the District of Columbia. Submissions will be accepted through June 30.
